Thinking caps on. What should be played at the funeral?
*First of the Gang to Die – Morrissey
*Cardiac Arrest – Madness – not medically accurate, but still a good song
*Funeral Pyre – The Jam

I find myself singing “Blasphemous Rumours” quite a lot these days …
“Always look on the bright side of life” is a must, surely?
And “Firestarter”, if that’s your preference?

Surely, if in the unlikely event these are needed, you’d want something car related? Gary Numan’s “Cars”, Sammy Hagar’s “I Can’t Drive 55” (naff, I know), Iggy Pop’s “Passenger” or Queen’s “I Love My Car”?

Always imagined Ride On by AC/DC – “got a one-way ticket, going the wrong way” and Tower of Song by Leonard Cohen “you’ll be hearing from me baby, long after I’m gone” my sense of humour I’m afraid…

More seriously, a friend who had a similar cancer (but more serious stage) at the same age, went out with ‘Won’t get fooled again’ by The Who with a horse drawn hearse. A classic car clearly more your thing.
